Comments: Un Altro Inganno (APRIL FOOL!)

Of course, the most brilliant part of it was Neil Gaiman giving the title "Poisson d'Avril" (= April fish) to the journal entry in which he introduced the link to the Glassman journal.

Indeed. Whether he was actually fooled or not, he was an awfully good sport about the whole thing. Best possible outcome.

Some of us knew what you were doing, and it was delightfully evil!

Howard lives!! That is unless you ARE actually Howard and he's been pretending to be Socar. What kind of a freaking name is Socrates for a girl anyway? Has to be a fake.

If Howard must die, I suggest you have him eat himself.

No American male would ever spell complete, "compleat." I smell a rat.

Congratulations. What a superbly executed prank :D Will you be leaving it up for a while?

Absolute genius. Congratulations on the success!

Very good prank. I found out about it through Neil's journal, when the whole prank had already been fooled. Didn't know it was you until I read your DA journal entry, though. I thought it might be when you wrote on the fake blog that you're Socar, but since you also wrote that you're nobody and since I thought there must be more than one Socar on the internet I dismissed that idea.
Fun! :D

Yeah, you got me and it was hilarious. Though the Jim stuff should have been the tip-off. Jesus.

As I said last night, good job. You provided me with some much needed laughter.

Richard, who the f*ck do you think you are kidding. You had no idea about anything -- you get all of your info stalking my blog. Go play somewhere else.

jk - Gotta love the Museum of Hoaxes. One day, perhaps, one of my jokes will make their list.

Robin - Ha, glad to be of service! I thought the whole Jim story arc might've been pushing it a bit, but I figured entertainment was more important than deception, in this case. Oddly, though, quite a few people still went for it!

Manuela - Hey, the world needs nobodies. It's a very big responsibility, being a nobody. If nobody was nobody, how would we know who was somebody? (Ha, ha.)

Scient - Thank you! Thank you very much.

Camilla - Yes, Howard's blog will be staying where it is. Obviously, it will no longer be updated, but (barring a giant TypePad crash), it's not going anywhere.

Joseph Francis - Terribly sorry. I MEANT to take a shower.

jk - Ha, you got me. I'm really a very effeminate-looking male senior citizen...from America. (Really?)

Richard - Glad you enjoyed it!

I wondered where you'd been! Superb as usual, Socar. You and Virge really know how to ring in April.
