Comments: Making a Cassowary out of a Peahen

My money is on the Peahen, or maybe an Ibis. I hate Ibis.
I must admit the Cassowary story doesn't make much sense...those things are dangerous. I've seen Steve Irwin get attacked by one.
They don't just let them wander around anywhere.
I wish I could muster up your resolve and write. I can't even get motivated to draw, mostly. Have a good weekend. Beware of the Cassowaries ;)

sounds like peahens to me. I still say those birds are overgrown, overdressed chickens.

peacocks are funny.

It was a pterodactyl.

Since you used the word FOUND in capitals, I'm going to stick in a pitch for foundmagazine.com and their wonderful FOUND Magazine. My favorite.

My friend got bitten by a spoonbill once. It grasped her forearm in its weird, spoony beak, and just held it in a matey sort of fashion while she looked bemusedly at it. I didn't have a camera, alas.

This doesn't resolve your cassowary/pea-hen dilemma however. Could it have been an emu in Mardi-gras costume?
