![]() April 11, 2004On My Head Be ItIt, in this case, referring to a hair golem, perhaps: ![]() Explanation? Some complete git--I don't know who, but I've got my suspicions--rang my buzzer at two o'clock this morning. I was sound asleep, of course, and none too happy to be disturbed. By the time I got my telly on Channel 59 to see who it was, the offending buzzer had fled the scene. To add insult to injury, there was a poofy cling on my head, pictured above. I caught sight of it in the mirror, and simply had to snap it for posterity. I was all "Aw, man!", and the poofy cling was all "Heh-heh-heh," (that thing's alive, see), and the mirror was all "My eyes! My eyes!", and then I went back to bed. It took me a long time to get back to sleep, because I had heartburn and couldn't get comfortable. (It was my own silly fault: I had friends round for dinner last night--lots of greasy spring rolls--then later on I ate a bunch of tomatoes. There was a dead insect in one of my spring rolls, but I picked him out.) At any rate, I'm dead tired today, and haven't anything further to report at the moment. I just wanted to let the world know that my hair has laid siege upon my head, and seems to have swallowed my ears. I have beaten it back for the moment, with the aid of an enormous hairbrush, but I don't have high hopes for a lasting victory. << Old Shoe | Main | From the Archives - The Giant Rat >> |
