TEXT!!!!!

This ought to be the last time I update this entry, rather than writing something proper. I thought I ought to write up the plan. What's happening with the older entries, that is, and what happened to the pages that got removed, and all that sort of thing.

Oh, dear God. I think I got the above title from a film about Nazis. Please tell me I'm mistaken. It just popped into my head, and it wasn't till I saw it written out that I thought--

--ah, well. At any rate, here's the plan:

1) The older entries: I'll be reinstating them slowly, starting with the oldest ones and working my way forward. I expect I'll do about five or ten a day until I'm done. Since there were more than six hundred of them, this will take quite a while. Not all the old entries will be reposted--the ones which would upset my mother, were she to stumble upon them, will be binned. Some of them will also be rewritten, because they are sloppy.

2) New entries will be written at the same time as the old ones are being updated. Well, not at precisely the same time--there's still just one of me--but in the same general time frame.

3) Certain extras, such as Making Fun of Plato, the short story bin, and the cast page, have been removed, and will not be reappearing. MFOP is gone because even I can't remember why it was funny any more. The short stories are gone because nothing good ever came from a creative writing class taught at a visual arts college. The cast page is gone because there aren't many people in my journal. Those that do appear are easily identifiable by context.

4) In future, I might post the occasional shorter entry, in addition to the usual longer ones. These entries will just be silly wee snippets, apropos of nothing in particular. Occasionally, there may also be poetry. This sort of nonsense will have its own category, so that one can read it all at once, or avoid it altogether.

5) Speaking of categories, if you look at the links on the left-hand side, under "Family Plots", there is now an archive sorted by theme. At the moment, the only category is "Miscellaneous", because there's only one post. As old posts resurface, and new ones appear, more categories will also spring up.

6) I hope the grocery order I placed at three minutes past noon yesterday will be delivered this morning. One has to get it in before noon in order to receive it the next day, but if I don't get my tampons, I'll....

7) I don't like turnips.

8) This list was finished three items ago.

9) One last addition to the list: sadly, I made a mistake in the file system, and all the comments that were ever left on this journal went up in smoke. While the old entries will be restored, the old comments will not. Feel free to leave new ones.
